A Nice, Newly Improved Home

I'm seeing a lot of home construction and home improvements lately. There's a new home construction going on in the lot next to ours. The two houses in front of ours are undergoing home improvements too: one is having her kitchen redone; and the other is having her living room redesigned and repainted.

With all these home improvements going on, I'm beginning to seriously consider having our home improved or renovated as well. Which is becoming to be such a good idea when I think of it more. I mean, I've always been a homebody; I just love staying at home. And since that's basically how I am, I require, as much as possible, that my home be as nice and as comfortable as it can become.

I'm thinking of making changes in the dining area and kitchen. I'd like to add more windows in the dining area to let in more light and air. It's a little bit okay now, but more light and air will make it much more cozy. The kitchen will be better off with more working space as well. I love to cook, so more countertops will give me more leg room to plan my cooking and do the cooking itself. Oh, and I would love to have a new stainless steel sink. Our current sink has seen better days and it's time to let it give a rest. A new and shiny stainless steel kitchen sink will be such a nice and comfortable replacement to have. The living room can do a good redecorating too. Decorations that will make it more warm will be good additions.

Oh, I hope we can get into that soon. It would really be lovely to have a newly improved home.

I would welcome a house renovation too, specifically the bathroom. But in these dire times of economic recession, how could one find the money to spend for it? lol. So I'll remain dreaming. Dreams are free anyway and they have no boundaries. :) :) :)

Congrats din, Dee!

Oh, I am reading my feelings here. Our house project isn't completely finished yet and how I wish matatapos na sana. Tinatanong ako palagi ng anak ko, kailan ba aayusin itong bahay? He gets this impression na ung sitwasyon ng bahay ay for under repair.
