A Perfect Vacation

My cousin just got back from a five-day vacation in Southeast Asia. She arrived looking all afresh, with a glow in her face, and brimming with lots of exciting and fun stories about her amazing trip. She was talking non-stop about how she had such a great time. And who could blame her? With her believable stories coupled with the lovely pictures she showed us, it was definitely a vacation worth talking about. I didn't mind listening. Really. I mean, even if I was going green with envy half the time and wishing all the while that I too was on such an amazing trip, I did enjoy all the stories and the photos. And I'm quite thankful that she gave us an earful of her full account of her exciting vacation because it made me realize how we (me and my family) haven't had one (a vacation) in years. We've been: all work and no play. And all work and no play isn't good for anyone. Pathetic, really. But I'm about to remedy that.

We're planning to go on a vacation as well. Our destination? That would be Phuket in Thailand. Yes, I know! Phuket will be fantastic! I would love to visit Phuket because I've always dreamed of setting foot on its paradise-like beaches, seeing it's beautiful places and experiencing its rich and fascinating culture. I've heard so many fascinating stories about Phuket.

While there, I would like to see: its museums like the Seashell Rawi; or tourist spots like Kata View Point and Promthep Sunset View Point; or the Naiharn Lake; and of course, the beautiful beaches like Naiharn Beach and Rawai Beach. Oh, I'm getting a good feeling just talking about these beautiful places.

Since we would be visiting the places I mentioned above, it will be nice to stay in Hotel All Seasons Naiharn Phuket since it's near those places. It's a beautiful hotel and an Accor Hotels as well. What's more, it's near the city center and the airport, so it's easily accessible. I already love its elegant rooms and the variety of its amenities like a swimming pool and sports like table tennis. Most of all, I would love to experience their sauna, jacuzzi, massage services and of course, their Turkish Steambath. Another good thing about it is that travelers who book on-line between June 23 to June 29 for stays between July 10 and September 30, 2009 will be able to take advantage of huge savings of up to 60%. Wow! Such a great deal for a fabulous hotel! A huge savings such as this on a dream vacation in one of the beautiful places in the world makes this vacation a perfect getaway indeed!

So now, it wouldn't be just my cousin who'll be looking all glowing. I too will be. After my Phuket vacation, that is.

wow! i'd like to see the natural beauty of our neighbors too. but lately though, my family's sort of going around the Philippines. it may sound so cheesy, but we actually agreed to go around the undiscovered parts of the Phils, and sort of help boost our local tourism in our own little way. :) and actually, the travel blogs i visit helped a lot.

keep us updated on this trip. :)
