Do you know what are the 6 richest cities in the world?
According to this, the 6 richest cities in the planet in terms of their gross domestic product (GDP) or based on the number of goods and services they have produced, are:
1. Los Angeles
2. Paris
3. London
4. Chicago
5. Tokyo
6. New York
For those who are living in these cities, wow, you live in the world's richest cities!
For those who are not yet living in these 6 cities, but are planning to migrate but hasn't yet decided on which country or city to go to, I think that knowing these cities will help you make your decision. Since you're already planning to change places anyway, why not consider these rich cities as well. They're rich, so chances are that they will be able to provide its citizens with a high standard of living or a good quality of life.
For those who have no such plans, it's nice to know these cities, nonetheless. For personal knowledge. Just in case you find yourself in that tight place where someone asks you this trivia question, knowing this list will sure come in handy.

Hmmm, I will seriously discuss this matter of moving to one of these cities with my carabao, moo! ",)
Our bukid from tralala is 3 hours drive by car to Tokyo.Mas gusto ko pa rin sa bukid namin, walang traffic!!\(^0^)/
Whoa there ... don't move to THOSE cities. While the GDP is high, so is the cost of living. What you should look for is a high GDP to Cost-of-Living RATIO. In 1996, at Case Western Reserve University, we ran some preliminary numbers like that and found Detroit and Houston to be the richest American cities. What would you find in Detroit today? A crumbling economy, for sure, yet a large city with world-class cultural attractions, hospitals, educational institutions, recreational opportunities, etc. While Los Angelenos are working extra hours to pay outrageous mortgages, and spending more than double the amount of time stuck in traffic, Detroiters of much more modest incomes are living the good life.
Hey, I live in Chicago!! Pretty impressive considering we only have 3 million people to make up all the GDP it takes to be in the top 6!! Ahem, excuse me Bill, it's not that expensive to live in Chicago. It's definitely the cheapest place on the list to live. 8-)
