Thank God for the Sunshine

I woke up this morning with the sun shining brightly in the sky. Thank God! It's finally a lovely, bright sunny day. A sunny day is something to rejoice about when you've had a seemingly endless succession of cold, wet, rainy days that feels so depressing, like what we have had for a couple of weeks now. With the rain, you can't go out much because it's quite a hassle. You would have to bring along a lot of paraphernalia like an umbrella, a coat, a scarf and everything you need to have to stay comfortable in a cold weather. But with the sun shining in the sky, everything just seems so light and everything around just looks so brighter. And I feel so much energetic that it's such a welcome relief. I hope sunny days like this gets to go on for a more days.
