New York Times bestselling author and acclaimed Christian speaker Joyce Meyer is bringing another one of her most popular messages to the award winning children's' series "Paphappahooey Island." In the new installment of the series, Meyer's phrase "Do It Afraid" communicates a message of courage to a new generation of listeners.
In "Do It Afraid," Ali (voiced by Ava Taylor) and her furry friends set out on a mission to discover lost treasure and rescue Miss Ruby (voiced by Joyce Meyer). But along the way, they must face their fears - whether it's a crowd of clucking chickens, singing karaoke, or just being alone. In the end Ali and her friends heed the advice of Miss Ruby and conquer their fears as they "Do It Afraid!"
The 68-minute DVD features an additional episode, "Never Alone," which is another entertaining lesson on overcoming fear. When the gang sets out on a camping trip, they soon fear that someone or something could be following close behind. In "Never Alone," the group of friends discovers the key to rising above the things that can bring worry and panic into everyday life.
Both episodes combine brilliant music and powerful messages of faith to create engaging content viewers have come to expect from "Pahappahooey Island."

My Thoughts
Pahappahooey Island: Do It Afraid is a great show that teaches kids how to face and overcome theirs fears. Adults can learn a lot from this too. I like the fact that it teaches us that if we need to do something that would frighten us, we can go ahead and "Do It Afraid" because the Creator is with us. It reminds us that things aren't really as bad as they seem.
Pahappahooey Island: Do It Afraid is available on DVD on November 17.
