We might get new beds for the bedrooms and couches for the living rooms. Tables and closets will be added to the list too. Getting an Online Degree

I'm thinking of going back to school and getting a masters degree online. I believe going back to school would be beneficial for me and my family because it can boost my earning potential. Studies show that those with a Master's degree earn significantly more. Also, those with degrees have significantly lower unemployment rate.

I'm choosing an online degree since I'm a mom. With an online degree, I can still perform my duties as a wife and a mother. I can do my studying at home where I can still watch over my kid. An online degree is cost-effective too, as I don't have to spend money on gas, parking or books. I also need not worry as to who will baby sit my kid when I'm in school or worry about the cost of hiring a babysitter.

I'm thinking about choosing Western Governors University since they offer high-quality academic content and has several programs. They have courses in business, information technology and many more. They also have affordable tuition, is flexible, and has a strong support system. I think these factors are important to succeed in my education.

Traffic

We were stuck in traffic yesterday. I know I should just stop griping about the state of the traffic in our area or anywhere else, for that matter, because it's quite a given thing. It's like part of life, something all of us need to contend with; for some, every now and then, for others, on a daily basis, unfortunately. But it's just that it's utterly annoying having to sit through a 45 minute bumper to bumper tangle when we could just have traversed that road in less than five minutes without heavy traffic. And it get's really frustrating when you're hungry to boot. I mean, what could I do? I'm in the middle of a heavy traffic in the middle of the road and there's no food around! Hungry and stuck in an awful, messy traffic! It's one of those days, I tell you. Oh, and it was caused by a really large truck, carrying steel, blocking 90% portion of the road. Talk about not a good timing. Oh well, just want to share that. Hopefully doing so would lessen the frustration.

On Continuing our Direct TV

We might be moving once again. Probably to California this time. Just thinking about all the packing and making arrangements that needs to be done because of moving is starting to make me sigh. It would be a series of busy days for me, I bet. I would have to contact hauling companies, make plane reservations and the like. Then I would have to make sure that we would be able to continue our Direct TV service in the place where we are moving to. I love watching TV and we really need to have Direct Satellite TV. Internet Connection Issues

I'm having a problem with my Internet connection these days. We changed our service provider and that's when the problem started. It is so SLOW! I can load only one page at a time, and even then, still it wouldn't load at times. I am really frustrated. How I wish I can get out of this subscription, but the problem is we are stuck with this for the next two years and that sucks! How I wish we knew about their bad service before we signed up. We had a cold weather again today. It rained all day and it took quite a lot of effort to get up in the morning and begin doing what had to be done. Yesterday, I spent some time reading Charlotte's Web. Charlotte's Web is my son's featured language book of the quarter, and as a homeschool mom, I need to read it in order to discuss it with him and correctly check his written and oral activities. Still Shopping

It's already November, and I'm not yet done with my shopping for the holidays. I still have some time left, though, but I like to do my shopping early on. That way, I can wrap everything and put them in order. I don't want to do a last minute thing because when I do, I end up forgetting some people or mixing up gifts, such that some would get what isn't actually for them. Definitely embarrassing!

Favorite Drinks

I can't believe it's Thursday once again. Time flies so fast!

Anyway, Girls Talk's theme for today is favorite drinks. My favorite drinks are red wine and just water.

A sweet red wine is the only alcoholic drink that I can tolerate, since it's...sweet. If it's not sweet, I can't stomach it. And it has to be chilled, so that it'll taste better.

I love water too. I drink lots of it, because it best quenches one's thirst.

I don't drink soft drinks since I'm acidic. I haven't drank soft drinks in, I think, over six years now, because it always reacts in my stomach. I select the juices I drink too because of that acidity, and I don't drink them often. Coffee and some iced tea are forbidden too. I choose the iced teas with no caffeine in them.

I like the fact that it teaches us that if we need to do something that would frighten us, we can go ahead and "Do It Afraid" because the Creator is with us. It reminds us that things aren't really as bad as they seem.

Tuesday Couch Potatoes: The Notebook

It's my first time to join sweet Kikamz's, of Just About Anything, Tuesday meme called Tuesday Couch Potatoes. It's a chance for everyone to talk about his or her favorite movies and relive those beautiful stories and scenes.

For today, we will be talking about DRAMA, and I choose my all-time favorite romantic drama - The Notebook.

I'm sure most of you have watched this wonderful film. For those who haven't yet, The Notebook is a beautiful love story of Noah and Allie, whose love for each other stood the test of disapproving family, friends, unhelpful circumstances, and time.

I cried while watching this movie and was so pleasantly surprised with the ending. I had no idea what the story was all about when I watched The Notebook, so everything about it was so fresh for me. I've watched The Notebook several times and not once had it failed to put a smile on my face.

I hope you take the time to watch The Notebook because it's so worth it.
