Not Busy at Work

It wasn't very busy at work yesterday. Probably because it was already in the middle of the work week. Our customers usually come in the early days of the week. I don't know why they do that. It's as if all of them had a prior agreement to come on Mondays and Tuesdays. That's why Mondays and Tuesdays are quite hectic. There isn't just no time to go to the restroom during those days. But we do manage, though. Anyway, as I've mentioned, yesterday wasn't that busy. Not much paper work to do or calls to make. Our boss left work early because she said she had some funeral planning to do. Then some of my officemates took the afternoon off. It was nice to have a relaxing office atmosphere for a while. We know, though, that we'll be back to being busy again in a few days time since there's another project coming. So we enjoy non-busy days as much as we can.

Planning a Business Anniversary

Our business' annual anniversary is still months away, but we're already beginning to plan for the event. We're starting to come up with the guest list, decide on who is going to do the catering, plan the activities during the party, and look for promotional products. The celebration wouldn't really be that big. We plan to invite family, just a couple of friends, and other people who have been part and made a contribution in whatever way they can to the business. We'll be giving them promotional products. We're giving away promotional products to the first 100 customers for that day, too. We still haven't decided, though, what promotional products we will be giving away. We want something nice and memorable. We still have a lot of planning and preparing to do, and good thing we still have plenty of time to do so.

Looking for a Good Book

I haven't read a book in a while. That's quite surprising for someone like me who never runs out of any book to read. It's just that I've been just feeling so lazy to read lately. But I want to go back to reading again. Reading relaxes and gives me a good feeling. That's why I want to start reading again. Of course, reading gives me other intellectual benefits too. So, I'm now looking for a good book to give me a good start on reading. I just hope I'll be able to find one soon. Care to suggest anything?

Oh, by the way, that chicken you see in the picture tastes really great. One of the best chicken I've ever tasted! It's a shame that I don't know how to cook it with the same end result as that. Oh well, that's how things sometimes are.

Engaging in an Ecommerce Business

My husband has wanted for so long to engage in an Ecommerce business. We have never got around to begin the process of engaging in one, though, because of work, our busy schedules and other concerns that currently keep us occupied. But we are really planning to start processing and doing soon what needs to be done to start an Ecommerce business. Once our busy schedules would let up, we will start planning and implementing the business. So many things need to be done, actually. We need to study the market, finalize what products we will be selling, set up payment modes or schemes, and don't forget one important factor - to look for an ecommerce web hosting service provider. We are not really experienced in Ecommerce business and it is quite complicated and scary. There are just lots of things to consider and do. But I think that getting scared is just normal for first timers like us. And when you come to think of it, nowadays, the Internet is very important. Yes, I know, I know. This is quite late. Sorry for that. I've been really busy and all so I never got around to greeting everyone a Happy Valentines Day. We don't normally celebrate Valentines Day so that would maybe account for the oversight. But since it's still February, I think greeting everyone a Happy Valentines Day now is still technically okay. After all, everyday should be a Valentines Day where we show our love to everyone. Plans After Work

Today after work, I'm planning to stop by the pharmacy to get some vitamins for men for my husband, vitamins for my son and vitamins for myself. I just hope the traffic on the way home wouldn't be so bad. Otherwise, I would be late in getting home. I hope too that the line in the pharmacy wouldn't be so long. Well, maybe it wouldn't be since it's Thursday today and Thursdays usually aren't really that busy. Anyway, I plan to drop by the Chinese restaurant to do some take out. That way I wouldn't have to cook for dinner, and can just relax when I arrive home.

Dealing with Acne

I'm one of those people who has to deal with acne breakouts on a constant basis. I always get acne whenever my feminine period is fast approaching. I'm used to it, actually, and it doesn't bother me the least bit when it appears on my chest or back, but it does bother me when it starts appearing on my face. I want to lose weight so much. It's something that I really wish for and am working on right now. That is why I'm really looking for diets that work. I have to lose weight for good health. Power Naps

I feel so sleepy lately. So sleepy even in the middle of the day that it sometimes takes lots of effort to keep my eyes open. There are times when I just give in and take a nap for about 30 to 40 minutes just to rejuvenate and energize me again. Good thing that we have comfortable office furniture at work that allows me to take comfortable and rejuvenating power naps during break hours. It helps a lot, you know. I usually take my nap at our office guest couches. When break time is done and I've had my power nap, I feel energized again.

Busy Weekend

I had a busy and kind of stressful weekend. We we're overseeing this certain project and let's just say that there were concerns we needed to fix along the way. I'm really relieved that the past weekend is over. I'm so looking forward to have some rest and relaxation at the start of this week. I'm thinking of going to the salon to get myself pampered. Afterwards, I'd like to watch a movie or two in our Samsung HDTV. I'd choose something light to watch, probably a romantic comedy or just a plain comedy with lots of laughs. I need to escape from the stress. Hopefully I can do that by going to the salon and watching movies.
