Our Elderly Neighbor

We have this neighbor who is an old woman. She doesn't live next door to us, but her house is still in our street. We often see each other whenever me and my husband would go for a walk or a jog in our area. She's somewhere nearing 80, buy I've got to tell you that she's still really very agile and strong. We would sometimes meet her down the street carrying lots of grocery bags and she still could handle that really well. We would often chat and talk, not just because it's a neighborly thing to do, but really because she's really a nice lady to talk with. Just the other day, we saw her walking her cute little dog down the street so we chatted again. The topic of our conversation mostly centered on health stuff, like how it's important to eat the right food, how exercise is also important, how one needs to do colon cleanse, how one has to take things lightly, and the like. I learned a lot from her, you know. And I do try to remember many important points. She's wise and there's really a lot of things to learn from her.

Another Weight Loss Endeavor

Another person who I know is trying to lose weight is a former classmate of mine in grade school. We actually haven't seen each other for many years, but we did reconnect again in Facebook. You know Facebook, you meet a lot of people there that you haven't seen in a long time. Anyway, we chatted in Facebook, talked about how each other is doing, and the like. She's somewhere in Vermont now, with a husband and kids of her own. We talked about our jobs, family, life. She mentioned that she gained a lot of weight ever since she gave birth to her last child. She's been trying to lose weight, but with no success so far. She was asking me if I know the best diet pills for women. I actually don't have any idea for now, but I told her to check online. She said she would.

It had been nice talking to my former classmate and I do wish her success in losing weight.

More and more women are trying to lose weight these days. And you know, that's really a good thing. Losing weight results to being leaner and slimmer, which in turn leads to being more healthy.

I have this neighbor who's starting to plan to lose weight, too. She's been telling me how she plans to diet, exercise, and the like. Saving for a Cruise

My friend and her family just came back from a cruise in the Caribbean. So, wow! I'm really impressed. She was just finished showing me lots and lots of pictures of their cruise vacation, and boy, it was absolutely amazing! They got to ride in this 12-storey boat that practically has everything in it. She said it has a big pool, movie houses, bars, restaurants, a golf course, a gym—all the works! How totally great is that! The pictures tell me how totally lovely it was and how they had such a great time.

So you know, I'm really planning on getting me and my family a cruise vacation in the future, too. My friend says that it's not really that expensive especially if you can find great cruise deals. She told me about this site where I can see some cruise deals, and I'll definitely be checking it out. I'll just start saving from now on, and maybe before next year, me and my family will get to go on a cruise vacation of our own, too.

Acne Treatments for My Husband

You know what? Well, my husband, who has not been prone to acne for a long time now, has been getting acne quite a lot lately. Yes, siree, he's not a teenager anymore, but there it is: acne on his face. There was even a big one on the side of his face a few days back and he was really upset about it. He has been complaining to me and asking about why he is still getting acne at his age. He has been asking me about acne treatments that work. Muscle-Building Help

Have I mentioned that my husband has been busy getting fit? He's been exercising a lot, eating right, and really working hard to have a healthy lifestyle. And I can say that it is quite paying off well. And he noticed that, too. But there's something he still wants to achieve, though. He wants to build muscles to look better. He's thinking of taking pro complex to be able to do that. He said that there are these muscle-building protein stuff that help one build muscles. He said one needs to take it in. Oh, I'm not very knowledgeable about that, so I told him why not research about it to get informed. He says he'll do just that because he's really serious about this muscle-building endeavor. You know what, I'm starting to see signs of wrinkles in my face. No kidding! There aren't really that many. In fact, really only a few of them, and you can see them only when you look close enough, but I'm really getting worried. I mean, who wouldn't, right? About Babies

A lot of my friends are either pregnant or now new mommies. So I'm expecting to get invited to many baby shower parties and baby christenings soon. Oh, and not to mention, baby birthday parties. And I love that! Not only would they be a great time to bond with my friends, but they would also be a lovely time to talk about baby stuff like preparing for the arrival of their babies, seeing their babies for the first time, and the like. Let's face it, having a baby is one of the most wonderful and joyous moments of a parent's life, and it's nice to share in that wonder and joy. So I'm really looking forward to all the baby events. Which actually reminds me to start buying some new baby gifts soon. Hmmm, time to start shopping for them, I guess.

Advertising the Business

Remember this friend of my husband's who's starting his gym business. Well, my husband and I think that he should get some advertising going to attract customers. As his business is new, he needs some sort of advertising to let people know that his businesses would be opening soon. We thought about having some sort of a notice, or notices, perhaps, printed in the local newspaper. That would help, right? A lot of people read our local paper so that will definitely disseminate the information that he'd be opening a gym soon. And then, we thought about having some fliers printed. Maybe do some color printing on it to make it more attractive to customers. That would be great, too, right? People would have some fliers to read and they'll get informed about the gym and the services that it has to offer.

My husband's friend is open to ideas, and he likes what we've come up so far. But we're thinking of more ways to advertise, so we hope to come up with something more in the next days to come.

Redecorating Our Place

I need to redecorate our little place soon. It looks kind of boring from the outside already. I've been quite busy the last few weeks that I hardly had time for some redecorating outside. It's high time that I take some action.

So I'm thinking of painting the exterior walls of our house a new nice color. It currently comes in beige and I thought I'd go for something bold and eye-catching this time around. Probably an orange. My sister's house is painted orange and we love it. I think I'll follow suit.

And then, I'm also thinking of putting a Planter here and there. Planters are great! They make your house look beautiful and charming. Maybe I'd place some Outdoor Planters in the front porch as well as in the back porch. That would make the ambience in those places more cheerful. And, of course, I'd place some Window Box Planters in the windows, too, to make our windows look more interesting.

My son has this experiment in school that I think is kind of dangerous. Well, not really that dangerous maybe since if it's a school experiment, then it's tailored for kids his age. But then, I have my doubts, so I told him to use some bifocal safety glasses when he finally performs the experiment. I think it's wiser and really safer to use bifocal glasses. Gym Business

A friend of my husband plans on starting a new business. He wants to venture out on some other business that's different from his current business. He currently owns a retail store, and he said he's ready for a new venture now. So he's been asking around as to what business would be good to start these days.

Another friend suggested he opens up a gym. Our town has currently no good gym where people can go to to workout. I thought that would be a good idea since a lot of people I know have been looking for a nice gym to go to.

So my husband's friend is starting to seriously consider opening a gym. He's been researching, going over stuff in the Internet, and asking people about the gym business. He's been listing the things he needs to buy like exercise machines and equipments, Lockers, some tables, chairs, etc.. When it comes to Gym Lockers, I thought I can lend a hand on that area. I have this friend who runs an allied services business. What they do is that they hire people to work for other companies. These people are their employees and not the employees of the latter companies. The companies are my friend's clients who hire my friend's company to provide them with people to work in their businesses or establishments. Most of the people my friend hire are assigned as cleaning people or housekeepers. Some work as errand people, mailroom clerks, or messengers, but most of these people actually work as housekeepers. Since that is the case, my friend always buys cleaning equipments, cleaning supplies, and janitorial products like brooms, brushes, buckets, carts, receptacles, mops, Paper Towel Dispensers, glass cleaners, toilet cleaners, and the like. That is why she is always looking for good online stores from where she can buy these things. She does not have one specific store that supplies her needs right now, so she is still looking for one. Wanting a School Backpack

My son is homeschooled. Just like anything else, it has its advantages and disadvantages. Advantages would cover being able to be with him 24/7, being able to choose the curriculum he will take, and the like. One of the glaring disadvantages is him not being able to socialize. But we do take care of that in the sense that we let him enroll in sports or art lessons so he could socialize with kids his age and be part of a group. Another disadvantage would be the fact that he doesn't have a school backpack. Actually, I didn't even know that my son wants a school backpack of his own if he didn't tell me about it just this morning. He said he had this dream that he was carrying a backpack, and that as it is, he in fact wanted one. He actually has his own backpack, but admittedly it's an old one which he used to bring to school when he still attended regular school. So we'll remedy that concern. We'll get him a school backpack soon.

A New Mattress

There are days when my husband complains about a hurting back—his hurting back, in particular. It must be from the previous night when he slept. Probably his sleeping position. But we're suspecting it must be our bed mattress that is the culprit. Our current bed mattress isn't anymore sturdy. Some parts are sagging, while some portions are lumpy. That must be what's causing his back pains; he must have slept on uneven portions. Because of that, we're thinking of getting a new mattress. We don't know yet what it would be, but it must be something sturdy and comfortable to lie and sleep on. We're doing our research for now, but hopefully soon we will find a mattress that's good for us. In that way, my husband won't complain of back pains anymore.
